I kept us down to only a table lamp, however, by which the children and I played board games while she and Mr. D watched NCAA basketball. My favorite part: listening to our hand-cranked "emergency" radio, which worked quite well for this. We especially enjoyed finding a 1940s radio drama on the local NPR station. We did!
