Great tips! I use a filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator to fill my water bottle, among other uses. I’m eager for the Farmers’ Market to start. My rhubarb is coming up; I sense a rhubarb upside down cake in my future!

I never knew military clothes couldn’t be line dried–interesting. One tip for allergies and line drying–a 10 minute tumble in the dryer after line drying will remove a lot of the pollen, etc. off your laundry.

I do everything besides #2 as well. Most of the clothes in the house are for military wear so drying them on the clothesline is a huge no-no. Allergies are an issue as well unfortunately.

We’ve done everything except 2 and 3. Because of seasonal allergies, our clothes get dried inside (partly in a dryer and partly on a drying rack). As for #3, we are shamefully behind the curve on that one.

I wear SPF 15 on my face year-round–and in summer a hat!
It’s the key to not looking like leather as you age. I guess most sun damage happens permanently by age 16, so I’m diligent about coating the boys.

Be careful with grass clippings. My well meaning husband dumped some in our garden, only to realize that it was so happy in our garden, it took root and started growing!

I live very close to a river, so Miracle Gro is off my list. Any run-off would bring phosphate directly into the waterway. I’ll stick to my compost. It happens – naturally.
